  • Direct: statament that is written exactly as it spoken
  • Indirect: which tells you what someone said, but does not use the person's actual words

  • Climax: tension reaches it peak or most important point before the conflict is resolved/ exicitng part
  • Falling action: where events wind down to the story's conclusion/ naresolve na
  • Signal word: word that give order and time reference to story. Example first, next, before
  • Description: plays an important role in nature, people, places, and things.
  • Sensory language: it describe how your subjects looks, sound, feels, and smell, or even taste
  • Five sense: sight, touch, hearing, smell
  • Objectivedescription: present impartial and actual picture of the subject without biases
  • Subjective description: gives personal impression of what is being observe. Exampls: "The sky was a deep blue
  • Defenition: concise but exact meaning of unfamilliar words and explain special meaning
  • Denotation: Dictionary meaning / literal na meaning
  • Connotation: secondary meaning (symbolism, representation)
  • Formal defintion: logical pattern that includes as much informationas it can within a minimum amount of space. (Clear understanding, differ understanding)
