Stars and Constellation

• Constellation is a group of stars
• Our sun is considered a star

• Star is a natural luminous body visible in the sky especially at night

• A large star shines brighter than a small star
• A hot star shines brighter than a cool star
• A hot large star that is very far from earth does not look very bright
• Color blue is hotter and brighter
• Color red is less hotter and less brighter
• Star color ranges from red to blue. The color of the star indicates it's surface temperature
• Scientists believe that all stars came from huge clouds of gas and dust called nebula
• In general the more massive a star is the hotter it's surface
• 88 constellations recognized by the international astronomy union(IAU)
• Constellation move across night from east to west
• Some constellation appear and disappear in the night day throughout the gear due to the revolution of the earth
