  organisms depending on each other for survival forming a community.
• What are abiotic factors + examples?

  Non living factors eg. light, temperature, water, soil, PH, C02 and 02 concentrations.
• What are biotic factors + examples?

  impact of organisms on an ecosystem eg. food, predators/prey and pathogens.
• What are quadrats and how are they used

  Quadrats: grid places in random positions in an area using random number generator to choose locations.

  Count number of chosen organisms in each, calculate mean x total area to get an estimate for the population.
