Conditional 2

• If you gave me a pound for every trip, I would be rich.
• If-clause: simple past ( gave, saw, went,… )
• Main clause: would/could + infinitiv ( would be, could get, would go down )
• often: „If I were“ instead of „If I was“
• Never use „ would/could „ in the If-clause
• Was wäre wenn- Sätze —> nicht sehr wahrscheinlich oder sogar unmöglich
• If I had a kayak , I‘d paddle right down.
