  • San Pedro belongs to the esteemed roster of proclaimed National Artists of the Philippines, of which he was conferred with 1991.
  • One of his most popular compositions today is “Ugoy ng Duyan,” a lullaby, written as part of his Suite Pastorale, a compilation of choral works. Lyrics were written by Levi Celerio, an prolific lyricist.

  • At 12 years old, Antonio could play several stringed instruments, but his exposure to orchestral music during rehearsal of his father’s orchestra made him learn the violin early on.
