  It can be used in situations where manipulating the IV would be unethical. This is a strength as it allows researchers to study things such as anxiety without actually inducing anxiety onto the participants.
• What are the disadvantages of quasi experiments?

  1. They may be more expensive and time consuming.
  2. There is no control over extraneous variables.
