  • Using the gifts hopefully draws us to service, sharing with others, bringing good to others
  • Transubstantiation
    Moment the priest says words over the bread/wine, changes the substance and become blood and body of Christ (while still looking like bread and wine)
  • 4 things happen during Baptism
    1. Our sins are forgiven: actual sins and the inclination before sinning
    2. We are incorporated into the Body of Christ: made a part of the family
    3. Receive the Holy Spirit: become partakers and share in the divine life of God
    4. Become partakers of divine nature (same nature as God): share in the nature of divinity and God becomes our father

    renewal of Baptismal vows, laying of hands from the Bishop, anointing with Chrism, giving of Peace
