  •   CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
    • This research chapter describes the research gaps, research background, states the research questions, indicates the scopes and determines research significance, addresses hypothesis, definitions, analyzes literature reviews, and outlines research theories and conceptual framework.
  • Perceived Gap 
    –  Ideas that had not been answered in a research
    – an issue that has not been fully addressed by previous studies. 
    – This is the problem that the researchers will aim to solve or answer.
  • Background of the Study -  Overview of the research ideas, research gaps and research problem
  •  Statement of the Problem and Purpose 
    – Description of the research questions and research purposes
    – Includes the set of questions, gaps, and research problems; provides relevant questions and purpose.
  • Significance of the Study 
    –  Identify the beneficiaries of the study.
    – The context and contribution of the research study in a certain field
  • Hypothesis 
    – Specific research assumptions of the research results.
    – Tentative answer to the statement of the problem
    – Always a null statement describing no effect, no effectiveness, no correlation, and no difference.
  • Scopes and Delimitations 
    – Areas of knowledge that are included in the research study
    – coverage and boundaries of the study 
    – states the scopes of the study, respondents, location, and time period.
  • Definition of Variables
    – List of variables indicated in the research
    – List of words or terminologies related to the research, must be defined literally and based on the research use.
  • Review of Related Literature and Studies 
    – Analysis of relevant articles in the research structure.
    – Compilation of all related supporting articles and supporting research.
    – RRL and S must start from introduction, categories, cited and paraphrased articles, and analyzed explanations.
  • Research Synthesis 
    – Description of the consolidated ideas in the RRL and S.
    – Summarizes all the related articles and related studies.
    – Generalizes the main highlight of information from the references.
  • Theoretical Framework
    –  Presenting the research theories
    – A diagram that shows any existing theories or existing information or knowledge that will be helpful in the research.
  • Conceptual Framework 
    – Illustration of the research concepts of the study
    – A diagram that presents the variables of the study and how they are interconnected.
    – Concise explanation is needed.
  • CHAPTER 2: RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
    Presents the structure of the data collection.
    States the necessary methods to be used in research study
  • Research Design - indicates the type of research to be accomplished.
  •  Samples and Sampling Techniques Used 
    – describes the respondents of the study and how the respondents are comprehensively selected for the research study.
  • Instrumentation – describes the instruments to be used in the study and how these research
  • Procedure – describes how the necessary research data will be collected.
  • Statistical Analysis of Data states and justifies the appropriate statistical treatment to be used in certain research.
  • CHAPTER 3: RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
    • Based on the established results and how important are these results in the research.
  •  Results 
    These are the sets of data that had been analyzed and interpreted using statistical approaches.
    These are the objective answers of the research data collection,
  •  CHAPTER 4: SUMMARY, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION
    • The part of the research that indicates the general implications of the research findings in a current study.
  • Summary
    -Overview of the important ideas of every research chapter.
    -Must establish the summary of the research concepts of Chapter 1 – Chapter 3.
    -Must establish concepts of the summary of the findings.
    -Presents research problem, purpose, research theories, research procedures and research results.
  • Recommendation
    -Provides future topics for possible development of areas of inquiries and areas of academic disciplines
    -Provides possible programs and policies relevant to certain research
    -Must reflect the new gaps observed in the research 
    -Practical, Specific and Feasible
  • Background of the Study -overview of the research topic, the area being researched, as well as previous studies and relevant information on the topic.
  • Definition of Variables – list of terminologies with contextual and operational meaning.
  • Hypothesis – assumption of the researchers 
  • Paraphrasing – restating the original text top avoid plagiarism 
  • Research Analysis – detailed analysis of existing literature
  • Research Background – General to specific; the last paragraph should highlight the rationale and research gap of the study.
  • Research Locality – focused on the setting or location where the study is conducted 
  • Research Purpose – the overall direction or focus of the study
  • Research Question -research statements that are constructed to inquire for further relevant answers, theories and ideas
