• Personalism:

  • concerned with individual people
  • Agape love focuses on individuals
  • does not mean animals are not included, just that humans are prioritised
• Many who agree with situation ethics do include animals in God's love
• Inclusive love rather than exclusive, no intrinsic reason agape cannot apply to animals
