response to stimuli - perception of stimuli and carrying out appropriate actions in response
reproduction - production of offspring (sexually or asexually)
In multicellular organisms different cells carry out these processes of life, however in unicellular organisms one cell must carry out all. Examples: Paramecium, Chlamydomonas
Paramecium must carry out all on their own.
Chlamydomonas: must perform all processes of life.
