• barred anyone catholic or married a catholic from succession
• all heirs need to be members of church of England
• judges couldn't be dismissed without parliaments consent anymore
• royal pardons declared irrelevant in cases of impeachment , only included because the tories wanted the junto whigs gone
• no foreigners in privy council
