    the Pack is a refer to hungry wolf as he believes that children are.
    we flew is hyperbole and metaphorically monosyllicabic verb.
    alien sound the adjective alien show how familiar children sound of contrast with the alien sound of nature.
    tinkled like iron simile - nature is meant to be soft and beutiful but this is the contrast with loud carins huntings and children which that abmiiantested the natural peace.

    show how exiting the children show that were they ice skating they didnt think if anything else

    the use of the shock show the loss of innocence
