  Towards front of body (Ventral)
• Posterior


  Towards back of body (Dorsal)
• Superficial

  Towards surface of structure or organ
• Deep


  Towards the centre of structure

  Divides body into left and right
• Coronal Plane

  Divides body into ventral and dorsal
• Transverse Plane


  Divides body into Superior and inferior
• Proximal


  Closer to the body
• Distal 


  Away from body
