• He knows what a dog is, but doesn't remember owning one or stroking one 5 minutes earlier
• Performed well on his immediate memory tests
• Can tie his shoelaces, walk and talk
• • His short-term memory isn't affected, but his long-term memory is partly affected - supports MSM
  • Impaired episodic, but procedural and semantic is still intact - supports LTM
