Nature of Allah

• al qadeer - omnipotence (all powerful)

• al rahman - beneficence (compassionate and forgiving of sins)

• al rahim - mercy (wanting to alleviate suffering)

  • "my mercy embraces all things" (Qur'an)
• adalat - justice (being fair)

• immanence - working within the world (through prophets)

  • "Allah is closer than your jugular vein" (Qur'an)
• transcendence - outside time and space
