- Strong ionizing power
Beta
- Reasonable ionizing power
Gamma
- Power ionizing power
Each type of radiation consists of different
particles
or
electromagnetic
radiation.
All three types of nuclear radiation are
ionising
- they are capable of
knocking electrons
from atoms.
