variation

• variation is the differences between members of a particular species
• characteristic is feature of an organism it can either be something we can see like hair colour and height or something we cant like blood group
• continuous variation is a type of variation, it spans over a wide range of differences of the same characteristic like height and weight
• discontinuous variation is a type of variation in which a feature falls under distinct groups like attached or detached earlobe or the ability to roll your tounge
