Resistance

• The resistance is the opposition to current flow
• Resistors are used to limit or control the amount of current flowing through an electrical circuit.
• Resistance (in ohms) = Voltage (in V)/ Current (in A)
• Resistance (ohms) = Potential difference (volts) / Current (amps)
• Gradient = change in y/change in x
• Resistance = voltage/ current
• Resistance = 1/ gradient
