• Flexors of the Wrist and Fingers - Deep layer:

  • Flexor digitorum profundus (FDP)
  • Flexor pollicis longus (FPL)

  
• Flexor digitorum profundus and Flexor pollicis longus both:

  • direction is distal
  • insert into the palmar aspect of the base of distal phalanx of medial 4 fingers / thumb
  • action is they flex all the joints they cross
