Deep Branch

    Cards (4)

    • Deep Branch of Radial Nerve (Posterior Interosseous Nerve):
      1. Begins in front of lateral epicondyle of humerus and enters posterior compartment of forearm by curving around the lateral and posterior surfaces of the radius, passing between the two heads of supinator
      2. It descends between deep and superficial extensor muscles, supplying these muscles
      3. In the lower part of the forearm it lies on the posterior aspect of the interosseous membrane and terminates at the wrist.
