What equipment is needed for the Emulsion test?
Food sample, test tube, ethanol, distilled water.
What is the first step of the Emulsion test?
Add a
few cm^3 of ethanol
to the food sample.
What is the second step of the Emulsion test?
Pour the mixture
into a test tube of equal volumes of
distilled water.
What is the third step of the Emulsion test?
If
lipids
are present, a white emulsion is formed on the surface of the mixture.
