  1)Create categories before reading the qualitative data.

  2)Tallying every time something falls under a category.

  3)The qualitative data has been turned quantitative into a tally chart.
• +)Ethical issues like informed consent may not apple because the material used like TV adverts, films etc are already in the public domain.

  
  

  -)Content anylsis may be subjective especially when more descriptive forms of thematic anylsis are used.
