This is the name of any magnet that can stop being magnetic. It could either be an induced magnet or an electromagnet
Experiment- When you hold up a permanent magnet and attach paperclips (magnetic material)to it, the paperclips become induced magnets so they are able to attract each other but the further away the paperclips get from the permanentmagnet, the attractions between the paperclip weakens.
