  -72 children aged 3-5

  -36 boys, 36 girls

  -3 conditions:

  > aggressive model - watched adult hitting doll with hammer & punching, saying boom pow

  > non-aggressive model - played quietly in corner

  > no model

  -children left in room observed through one way mirror
• Bobo doll study - FINDINGS

  -aggressive model : frequently imitated same acts of aggression

  -non-aggressive : least aggressive

  -about 1/3 copied model's verbal responses

  -boys consistently shown more aggression
