  • quality of life of unborn child needs to be taken into account
  • sexual assault - not forcing woman to carry through with unwanted pregnancy

  • pregnant woman's health takes priority over all
  • woman might be too young to support a child


  Arguments against supporting legal voluntary abortion

  • there are alternatives for abortion e.g. adoption
  • the unborn child is being denied a choice
  • abortion destroys a human's life, cheapens life, making it seem disposable
  • people born with disabilities can live long + happy lives
• "your wife will be a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table" (Psalm 128:3-5)
