CRISPR cas9

• Step 1: find target DNA/gene sequence
• Step 2: create single strand of guide RNA that is complementary to target DNA
• Step 3: combine gRNA with cas9 to create CRISPR cas9 complex
• Step 4: the gRNA locates the target DNA and the cas9 unwinds it and makes the cut
