  Earthquakes, volcanoes, Ocean ridges (the mid atlantic ridge where the eurasian plate and the north atlantic plate are moving away from each other), rift valleys (East African rift valley where the African plate is pulling itself apart), shield volcano.

  One plate subducts beneath the other
• What landforms/events happen at a Convergent (destructive) plate boundary?

  Ocean trenches (Mariana trench), Composite volcanoes (Icelandic volcano, Mount Etna), Fold mountains, when 2 continental plates meet they do not subduct (The Andes)

  Plates slide past each other in opposite directions
