• ZXC V Bloomberg (2022) ruled that Bloomberg should not have wrote about a business man 

  suspected of criminal activity 
• MS (Pakistan) V Secretary of State (2020)- Ruled that the gov has a role in protecting victims 

  of human trafficking (positive obligation) 
• 2017 Gina Miller case- ruled in favour of Parliamentary Sovereignty by ruling that May could 

  not leave the EU with prerogative powers but needed consent of parliament 
• 2018- SC Declared the the 2004 Civl Partnership act was incompatible with the HRA 
• 2016- ruled that Chris Grayling had acted ultra virus when using secondary legislation to 

  amend the legal aid act
