  • Line - is the path of a point moving through space
  • Shape - implies spatial form and is usually perceived as two-dimensional. Form has depth, length, and width and resides in space. It is perceived as three-dimensional
  • Colors - all come from the three primaries and black and white. They have three properties- hue, value, and intensity.
  • Value - refers to relative lightness and darkness and is perceived in terms of varying levels of contrast.
  • Texture - refers to the tactile qualities of a surface (actual) or to the visual representation of such surface qualities (Implied).
  • Space - refers to the area in which art is organized. Perspective is representing a volume of space or a 3-dimensional object on a flat surface.
  • Pattern - refers to the repetition or reoccurrence of a design element, exact or varied which establishes a visual beat.
  • Rhythm - or movement refers to the suggestion of motion through the use of various elements
  • Proportion - is the size relationship of parts to a whole and to one another. Scale refers to relating size to a constant, such as a human body.
  • Balance - is the impression of equilibrium in a pictorial or sculptural composition. Balance is often referred to as symmetrical, asymmetrical, or radial.
  • Unity - is achieved when the components of a work of art are perceived as harmonious, giving the work a sense of completion.
  • Emphasis - refers to the created center of interest, the place in an artwork where your eye first lands.
  • Technology revolution - has evolved different aspects of life that people found new and innovative ways of making an artwork.
  • Technology-based -art is essentially computer-generated and/or manipulated.
  • Computer Art/Digital Art -make use of electronic and mechanical devices, rather than the artist's own hand, to produce the desired images and effects.
  • mobile phones - has evolved from a mere communication tool, into a creative device that allows you to generate original works of art for an entire range of purposes.
  • PHABLETS - combination of android tablets and phones
  • Digital Photography -Is recording the image using a digital camera or a device with a built-in camera, like your mobile phone, android device or tablet.
  • Point and shoot - a digital camera which automatically makes all the adjustments in lighting, focus, zoom-in and zoom-out, even removal of "red eye" with the user being given some leeway for slight adjustment.
  • DSLR (Digital single lens reflex camera) - Film less and instant review features of a "point and shoot" type digital camera that gives the photographer much more artistic freedom and control to select the camera settings to create the desired final image with the preferred visual effects.
  • Digital Painting -is an emerging art form in which traditional painting techniques such as watercolor, oils, impasto, etc. are applied using digital tools by means of a computer, a graphics tablet and stylus, and software.
  • Adobe Photoshop -it's the most powerful software available for painting
  • Krita -A free and open-source alternative to Adobe Photoshop
  • Procreate -A raster graphics editor app for digital painting developed and published by Savage Interactive for iOS and iPadOS. Designed in response to the artistic possibilities of the iPad, it was launched on the App Store in 2011.
  • Computer Generated Images (CGI) -defined as any image that is created with the use of a computer based processor or program.
  • Videos (TV and Film) -Television is a medium that shows moving Images and sounds that were recorded earlier or are being performed live at a certain remote location.
  • Film -is also called motion picture or moving picture. It was shortened into movie during the early stages. It was renamed talkies
  • Pixlr -a powerful, free online image editor
  • Pic collage -Allows you to make collage incorporating photos, stickers, text and frames
  • Photogrid -A downloadable application for android phones that allows you to make collages out of images from your photo gallery
  • Doodle booth -An iPad application (with a free downloadable version) that enables you to "doodle" on your images using available stickers
  • Flipagram -A downloadable application that allows you to "bring your photos to life" in a short videos set to music of your choice.
  • Instagram -A fast and fun way to share with others, snap a photo, choose from among the available filters and share via Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and other social media applications
  • Lightroom - is the cloud-based service that gives you everything you need to create, edit, organize, store, and share your photos across any device. Anywhere editing. Easy- to-use tools like sliders and presets let you create photos that look just the way you want.
  • Bacon Camera -offers also a wide control over basic camera parameters such as color balancing, effects and scenes, together with useful tools your shots will be as like a pro.
