• Islamic art is usually colourful, abstract and often contains calligraphy.
• In Islam, it is seen as extremely disrespectful to draw Allah or the prophet Muhammad.
• By drawing the project Muhammad or Allah, you are bringing them down to a human level. They are both incomparable.
• Architecture is used in Islam to express spirituality, for example: Taj mahal, Mecca, Medina.
• Taj Mahal- built in 1632as a tomb for the emperor’s wife after she passed.
