Formulas

• SA:V (cube): SA = 6 x l x w
• SA:V (Cube): V = L x W x H
• SA:V (Sphere): SA = 4 x pi x r^2, V = 4/3 x pi x r^3
• Total magnification = magnification of objective lens x magnification of eyepiece lens
• FOV = diameter of microscope FOV x 1000
• FOV at high magnification = FOV diameter x low objective lens divided by high objective lens
• Size of one cell = FOV divided by number of cells across diameter
