  • Growth
    This refers to quantitative changes in an individual as he
    progresses in chronological age. An example of this is a person’s
    increase in body size.
  • Development
    This refers to qualitative changes or the progressive series
    of changes of an orderly and coherent type leading to
    individual’s maturation. An example is the beginning and
    improvement of motor ability like walking.
