  • Is based on the right to freedom of action and freedom of choice in so far as the pursuit of this freedom does not interfere with the freedom of others.

    Autonomy of individuals
  • This refers to instruction to all helpers or healers that they must, above all, do no harm.
    Principle of Non maleficence
  • Concerned with the fair distribution of resources and services, unless there is some acceptable reason for treating them differently. For counseling, the principle has particular relevance to the question of access.
    Principle of Justice
  • Shares the presence of loyalty, reliability, dependability and action in good faith.
    Principle of Fidelity
  • Clarification, Confrontation and Interpretation
  • From the client to the counselor, it is the unconscious feelings towards the counselor. (redirection of feelings)
    Transference
  • From the counselor to the patient , it is the reaction caused by their personal experiences. (redirection towards patient)
