  • as dusk settled, shadows lengthened and the library's warm faded. as the darkness enveloped building an unsettling feeling. the air grew cold and silence became oppressive.
  • suddenly a faint whisper echoed through the halls. indistinct, yet chilling
  • the girl clutched my arms her arms wide with fear "did you hear that"
    i nodded heart racing "yeah stay close"
  • we ventured out of our spot the flashlight casting trembling beams across the decaying interior. the whisper grow louder, surrounding us
  • stood a figure shrouded in darkness it's form shifting eyes glowing with malevolence, locked on to us, the girl screamed
  • "run i shouted pushing her towards the gates she bolted disappearing into the light. i turned go face the entity
  • it advanced, tendrils of shadow reaching out, i backed away stumbling over debris
  • just as it lunged a beam of light pierced the darkness. the girls flashlight shining through, creature recoiled shrieking before dissipating into shadow
  • breathless and shaken we left thr gates and the night became silent once more, the library standing as a dark silhouette against the starlit sky
