Music degree at the UP College of Music and finished his Master of Music in Composition at Indiana University; Likewise, he also earned his doctorate degree in composition, minor in musicology at the State University of New York in Buffalo.
Among his important works are "Daragang Magayon," "Ta-O," "Nagnit Igak G’nan Wagnwag Nila," "Likas-An," "Klintang," "Rituwal ng Pasasalamat," "Tula Tula," and "Awit ni Pulau."
