SETTING UP THE LEVEL

• ARM/HAND SIGNALS -is any gesture or motion that conveys information or gives command, direction or warning
• Once the instrument is set up and leveled, the following are the steps performed in taking rod readings:

  • POSITION THE ROD

  • FOCUS ON THE ROD

  • READ THE ROD
