  • Includes facilities (e.g. public gardens, shops)
  • Would provide 12500 dwellings - valuable, needed residential space (high demand)
• Reasons not to build:

  • At risk from flooding due to rising sea levels so would need to build coastal defences which are expensive
  • Causes more traffic on the M275
  • Homes would only be affordable for 30% of the population
  • Damaging to the marine environment
