• Population has increased by 7.8% between 2005 and 2015.
• Population increased because many people have moved to towns & villages due to easy access to the centre of Bristol.
• Ec - House prices rose by almost 7% between 2017 - 2018, pricing out some locals. Area has also seen benefits - employment & wages are above national average.
• S - Roads are congested with commuters to Bristol & some services (e.g. schools) are oversubscribed. Many people moving into the area are elderly which increases pressure on healthcare.
