fabric analysis

• Fabric is the texture and structure of rock. 
• Glacial striations, drumlins and pebbles in till often show preferred orientation due to movement of ice sheet. 
• Decide on sampling strategy  or site:

  • Measure compass orientations of pebbles or drumlins 
  • Group in 30 degree intervals 
  • Plot on a rose diagram
