  • USA :
    1. Democracy : Vote to choose/elect
    2. Capitalism : Focuses on profit making, businesses control resources for their own profit
    3. Was anti-communist and sent troops to help anti-communist forces during Russian Civil War, reluctant to recognise USSR as a nation
  • USSR :
    1. Communism : Only 1-Party rule, people have little say in their government
    2. Command Economy : State controls everything and is in charge of distribution
    3. Aim was to spread communist ideology and incite revolutions around the world. Signed Nazi-Soviet Pact with Hitler in 1939
