    • West side of country due to rainfall brought by pacific 
    • Found in Scotland 
  • Lake held back by ice dam, broke through in stages. Can be dated using organic matter on beaches. 
  • Lack of pollen from time period in loch area due to covering by glacier
  • Chelford interstadial:
    •  warming 65,000 to 60,000 years ago 
    • Evidence of fluvial sands and beetles found in heather environments 
    • Fluvioglacial and glacial sediments over the top of these deposits so glacial conditions returned
