  • make money hand over fist = make lots of money quickly
  • baptism of fire = difficult or challenging experience, especially one that requires quick learning or adaptation.
  • place emphasis on something = give special importance or attention to something.
  • much ado about nothing = unnecessary fuss or excitement about something that isn't important.
  • a penny for your thoughts = used when someone wants to know what another person is thinking but doesn't want to interrupt them.
