• pressure is the force per unit
• there is more pressure in denser liquids as there is more particles that are able to collide
• as the depth of the liquid increases the pressure increases because of the weight of the particles above adds to the pressure
• pressure is caused but the particles exerting a force as they collide with eachother and the walls of the container
