Did Opposition increase

• the White Rose: they distributed leaflets
• Church leaders: they preached against Hitler and some had so much support that Hitler couldn't silence them
• Army Leaders: The July Bomb Plot: in 1944 a colonel planted a bomb in Hitler's conference room. he did this because he was sure that the war was lost
• Many Germans supported the war until the end. Among normal Germans they believed that he could find a way to lead them to victory
