    At an early age, became a member of a band that marched the town. During pre-war era, one of the male sopranos of the Quezon City Tiples de Santo Domingo. He also wrote his first composition, which was a Danza. Organist at the Manila Cathedral. A conductor as well as music education teacher. He composed more than 50 religious songs and hymns. His works have also been played or performed in international virtuosos and religious presentations

    Earned a Bachelor of Arts in English at the Philippine Women's University and a degree in teaching at Scholastica's College. A faculty member of the UP Conservatory of Music. Became Dean of the Philippine Women's University College of Music and Fine Arts from 1953 to 1977. Works comprise a set of more than 250 compositions
