Masonry Basic maintenance

• Lubricant- reduces friction between moving metal surface.
• Naphthenic oils- contain little max and their low pour point makes them good lubricants for most application.
• paraffinic oil- very maxy which makes them useful for hydraulic equipment
• Rust removal- used mainly to dissolve rust.
• silicones- a very stable and very inert lubricants, which provide a wider range of operating temperatures than non-silicone synthetic
• synthetic lubricants- cover a board category of oils, greases and plaster of various properties
• Solvent- a component of a solution that dissolve solute and is usually present in large proportion
• polar solvent- soluble in water
• Gasoline- used to wash oil, greasy tools and equipment
