• Reflexes are an immediate response to a stimuli
• The reflex arch is and involuntary and nearly instantaneous response to stimuli
• In the reflex, stimuli only goes to the spinal cord. It goes to the brain later
• Somatic Nervous system - actions you perform voluntarily
• Autonomic Nervous System - involuntary responses
• Conditioning reflexes are learned reflexes where the response to the stimuli is unatural
