  • Hard corns are normally on the tops of the toes, they are hard grey skin with yellow inflammation
  • Soft corns are normally between toes, whitened and soft due to moisture
  • Calluses depends on location and size, normally larger and found on balls of feet, heels and lower border of big toe
  • Padded inserts to relieve discomfort
  • Wear appropriate footwear, thick cushioned socks and wide shoes
  • Soak corns and calluses in warm water to soften and then file
  • Moisturise skin
  • Do not attempt to cut off lump at home, walk long distances or wear tightly pointed shoes or go barefoot
