  2. Intense-personal
  3. Borderline-pathological
• McCutcheon created the celebrity attitude scale based on findings of a set of questionnaires which asked Ps to score 23 items describing aspects of celebrity worship
• Entertainment-social = Relationship exists as source of fun shared with others in a group
• Intense-personal = Obsessive thoughts arise in relation to the celebrity
• Borderline-pathological = Obsessive thoughts become full fantasies, level of persuit involved that is intimidating
