The most important thing is to decide what you would like to find out. It has to be linked to the specification you are studying, and you need to be able to do it at the location you have in mind
you need to decide a title for the investigation, or a hypothesis
the title is what you want to findout, usually phrased as a question
the hypothesis is a statement based on the geographicaltitlequestion
